From the reviews
Malika is the most calming and responsive bodyworker I have ever experienced. Her space is always relaxing and her skills are strong across so many different modalities -- deep tissue, swedish, lymphatic, hot stone, cupping, reiki -- have experienced and loved them all!
Malika is amazing! Her deep tissue work is excellent, and her energy and approach are always spot on. She is especially great at meeting clients where you are emotionally and energetically, providing a comfortable and professional environment, and checking in about target areas and pressure preferences.
Malika is So Amazing and Thoughtful when it come to your needs. I first met Malika a few years ago when I was pregnant with And she handled my pregnancy massages with care, and I just keep coming back, Definitely a beautiful journey.
I am a first time client and I can’t stress enough how impressed I was with Malika. In only 60 minutes she addressed everything I wanted worked on and established a camaraderie with me that made the space homely, positive, and safe.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
