From the reviews
I can't speak highly enough about Resilient Acupuncture & Kelly! I had never experienced acupuncture until around a year ago and started seeing Kelly to help with some low back/hip/hamstring issues and I continue to be blown away each time I visit.
My wife and I have been going to Kelly for acupuncture about once a month for about 2-3 years. She is a gifted practitioner, with a huge depth of knowledge and compassion for her patients. The office is peaceful and relaxing, and the fire cupping is awesome! We highly recommend her to all of our patients.
Customer server alone was enough to shout this place from the rooftops!! Today was the first time ever going in to an Acupuncture place or cupping! The office and rooms were soothing and smelt faint of essential oils clean but not over powering(ideal for a migraine), the lighting seemed very natural.
I cannot recommend Kelly and Resiliant Accupuncture and Fire Cupping enough! I began seeing Kelly for acupuncture and fire cupping about a year ago and have noticed such a relief in my should tightness and discomfort.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
