From the reviews

I was so intrigued by my experience with Melanie at Resilience. She opened my eyes to a lot - very impressed with her knowledge (she knows what she’s talking about). The office was very clean and very calming. The sauna room looked so inviting! The room I did bodywork in was really spacious and cozy.

I have been going to Resilience at least once a month for the last 1.5 years. Sami is my regular therapist and is FANTASTIC. She uses different tools & modalities (cupping, hot stones, Gua Sha, etc) depending how my body is feeling.

★★★★★ — Sherry, Apr 2025

I was diagnosed with posterior tibial tendonitis and plantar fasciitis and it was suspected I also had tarsal tunnel syndrome in my left foot/ankle. I heard about Rapid neural fascial reset but there were no therapist certified near me.

★★★★★ — Andrea, May 2024

Owner Melanie and Staff at Resilience perform above and beyond in every capacity. I have had a number of different therapies when it comes to massage over the last few years, but I must acknowledge that Resilience, and Melanie specifically, cater to your personal needs regarding overall body health to perfection.

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
