From the reviews

There are healthcare providers who help, and then there are the rare ones who give you your life back. When I first walked into Elisa's office, I had reached the point where eating had become stressful, never enjoyable. Every meal came with the fear that this might be my new normal.

★★★★★ — Kelly, Jul 2026

I have had absolutely positive experiences with Dr. Elisa who is, in my mind, nothing short of a miracle worker. She identified the problems in my shoulder and foot which have made me immobile and worked with me in short time, through dry needling, cupping, massage and other tools, to get me back on my feet and back…

★★★★★ — Hope, Mar 2026

I wish I had known in my first pregnancy how valuable working with a qualified pelvic floor PT can be! My first pregnancy was smooth so I really didn't think I needed help, but I was completely blindsided after the birth: my postpartum recovery was very challenging and included a significant diastasis.

★★★★★ — Amber, Dec 2025

I have been going to visit Elisa Gillespie since around 2015. I was sent to her when I fell down the stairs after my knee gave out. I was unable to straighten my leg due to athletic injury in my teen years.

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
