From the reviews

Dr Tobin helped me recover from a work related L5-S1 disc bulge injury. She uses a variety of modalities beyond the typical crack and pop, including tissue work, cupping, and mobility drills. She is very knowledgeable and takes the time to understand your situation and really cares about getting you better.

First off, Carissa treats kiddos and parents. Her method of treatment is best described as traditional adjustments with sports therapy. Muscle message, targeting the problem area, and then going in for the fix, followed with a plan.

★★★★★ — Kendra, Apr 2025

I have been a patient with Dr. Tobin for 2 years. She has been treating me for chronic pain that I have been living with my whole life. Since beginning treatment with Dr. Tobin, my quality of life and ability to complete normal everyday tasks has improved beyond what I thought was ever possible for me.

Corissa is amazing! I did her 6-week program for my avulsion ankle fracture. Before her program, I could barely rotate my ankle. Just a few weeks into her program, I was able to increase rotation by 50%. After 4-5 weeks of her program, I was able to squat with weights, do light jumps and increase my flexibility.

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
