From the reviews
Shelly is AMAZING!! I see her on a regular basis. She is very kind, compassionate and thorough. She truly has magic hands and I love her cupping. I love her cozy and relaxing atmosphere. Shelly always addresses my concerns and I leave there feeling renewed, relaxed.
I've had two sessions with Shelly and I am already recommending her to everyone I know. I went in for some help with neck and shoulder tension (no specific injury, just life). Shelly is very skilled and really works with your body. I leave feeling so much better than I did when I came in.
Shelly is amazing at what she does. She makes me feel welcomed from the moment she greets me at her private studio! She takes the time to understand my needs and where my body might need a little extra care. She is professional and friendly.
Shelly is wonderful! Her space is so warm and inviting. She really takes the time to work on areas of pain and discomfort, and listens to not only you but your body. I always leave refreshed and a bit calmer than when I walked in. Highly recommend!
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
