From the reviews

I've had the finest massages of my life here. Brooke is an extremely talented massage therapist. I have changed "masseuse' to 'massage therapist' after reading the below response. Beg your pardon Brooke. You ROCK!

Kristen is seriously incredible. She is amazing at finding problem areas and focusing on them. Her knowledge of anatomy, stretching and exercises shows through. Even with back to back appointments which I’m sure are tiring, I have never gotten anything less than perfect. Go here!

★★★★★ — Olivia, Nov 2024

I have been going to Brooke for quite a while now for deep tissue / trigger-point massage work. She does a fantastic job each and every time, and knows exactly what she's doing to work the knots out. I'd highly recommend Brooke and Renewed Wellness.

★★★★★ — Kory, Sep 2023

Kristen was fantastic! Would highly recommend. I came in with a 10/10 on the pain and discomfort scale. I cannot say that it all went away, but I was at least able to sleep well that night. Kristen also recommended that I see a chiropractor (Ames Spine & Sport). I went there, they did a great job as well!

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
