I have had massages all over the world, but the best massage I have ever received is in Okemos, MI at Renewed Spirit. Heidi is beyond excellent! She has given me stellar massages whether for back pain, pregnancy, postpartum aches, or stress.
I had my very first ever spa experience a few weeks ago with Tiffany. She was the absolute best! I highly recommend booking with her especially if it is your first time ( I did the Advanced Signature Massage for 60 minutes)! She was very sweet & friendly, walked me through the process, & made me feel very comfortable!
So relaxing and great atmosphere. We went for a couples massage and were taken away to a relaxing place as we walked through the door. Quickly greeted with a friendly smile. We only had a 5 minute wait or so (they had other clients before we arrived) before taken to our room.
I love getting a massage from Tiffany. She listens to what areas are bothering you, and what you prefer and do not prefer when getting a massage. She's great at what she does, she's friendly, and the atmosphere makes a relaxing combination.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
