From the reviews
I am a self-described cynic who has historically described acupuncture as too "crunchy granola" for me. Consider me a convert! I've been seeing Rachel for almost a year now for acupuncture treatments during my IVF journey.
I had my first acupuncture session with Rachel and it was a wonderful experience. She made me feel comfortable right from the start, explained everything clearly, and listened attentively to my concerns. The environment was calm and relaxing, and I left feeling refreshed and more balanced.
Rachel has been amazing in the last year when I became her patient. I have been dealing with chronic pain, inflammation, and reflux for a very long time. Through testing, dietary changes, and supplements my symptoms have improved and I have done it naturally.
Rachel is amazing!!! I was super nervous about trying acupuncture because I get really nervous with needles. She made me feel super comfortable. We started slow and worked our way up. I always leave feeling so relaxed and calm. It has helped my sleep, stress levels, digestion and more!
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
