From the reviews
I was fending off injuries and particularly struggling with my hip mid-marathon training when I sought out Hope for my physical therapy needs. She did an excellent job meeting me where I was at, and she used the perfect combination of therapeutic tools (dry needling, cupping, massage), as well as approachable…
Renewed Physical Therapy is fantastic! Hope was able to fit me in right away and truly listened to my concerns. After a thorough body assessment, she focused on the areas I needed using a variety of techniques, including scraping, dry needling, and cupping.
Renewed Physical Therapy is a powerful place of HEALING both physically and emotionally. I appreciate the quiet & peaceful Christian music playing as the PT messaged my irritated nerves, ligaments and tendons.
After having a baby I did pelvic floor therapy with Hope. She helped me re-establish mind-body connection, showed me a range of progressive exercises I can do at home to help build and maintain muscles, and was overall easy to work with, approachable, and a great coach.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
