From the reviews
I’ve had PT on four different occasions at Hulst Jepsen in Hudsonville. Each therapist, was knowledgeable, kind and easy to work with. I’ve appreciated Mark, Alex and Grant and their contributions to helping me heal. They were great and entire staff is very kind.
I’ve been under care at Hulst Jepsen/Balsam Street, Hudsonville for several weeks and they have been great. Just got discharged today! Mark and Jodi took such good care of me and got me back to feeling good again with better C-spine range of motion than I’ve had in a long time as well as relief from some pesky jaw…
I have had to have PT multiple times for multiple issues and I will ALWAYS come here to do PT! Mark Carey is a wonderful physical therapist who respects each patient and their experience. The whole staff work hard to make you feel welcome and taken care of.
I had Leah, she was very friendly easy to work with. If you needed help she was right there for you. One of the best experiences I have had at physical therapy. I would highly recommend . Thank you for your support.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
