From the reviews
Kaitlin at Renew You Acupuncture provides a safe and healing space to be vulnerable with your health concerns. I’ve been a patient of hers for close to two years and after every session, I feel heard, cared for, respected, and more calm than when I entered her office.
Kaitlin is amazing! I have MS, I'm in a wheelchair, I deal with migraines, neck pain, sinus pain, swelling feet, poor circulation, tummy issues, and many other issues. Through a combination of acupuncture, cupping, and red light therapy she's been able to help and I am just so happy to have found her.
Dr. Kaitlin Walker is an amazing acupuncturist. Her treatments have greatly eased my arthritis pain, as well as TMJ, headaches and back injuries. She has created such an inviting space, you’ll forward to your visits! I know I do! You can completely trust Dr. Walker to do all she can to help.
I always have such a great experience here! Dr. Kaitlin is so kind, knowledgeable, and helpful. I’ve been dealing with chronic migraines and this has helped a lot, I come every week now. My parents also come here for joint pain or injuries and love it. Highly recommend Renew You Acupuncture!
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
