From the reviews
Therapy for right elbow pain tendinitis. Melanie was fantastic in understanding my symptoms and was able to address them. Within a few weeks of therapy my pain was going way. By the end of our sessions, my pain was pretty much gone and mostly symptom free whereas prior I was in pain nearly 100% of the time.
Melanie was fantastic in helping me with my recovery! She is extremely knowledgeable and truly cares about her patients. I went to her with a highly irritable tennis elbow. I had virtually no grip strength and in 6 sessions I made a full recovery. I strongly recommend her!
Corey and Malanie are absolutely fantastic! I’ve had the opportunity to work with both of them, and the experience has been nothing short of exceptional. Corey helped me with my back pain and sciatica, taking the time to thoroughly understand the root causes and customize a treatment plan just for me.
On a recommendation from a trusted friend, I went to Dr. Melanie Wittenberger at Renew Wellness for rehabilitation after a total knee replacement. I am a very active 60 year old and wanted to regain my ability to mountain bike, hike and walk comfortably.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
