From the reviews

When Rehab Guru was recommended to me after a knee injury, it was a blessing. The staff are all competent, caring, and friendly. Although I worked with several individuals, my primary therapist was Dr. Heather Urzendowski, and she was wonderful.

Rehab Guru is so unique from other physical therapy providers in Omaha. I’ve been a client for several years and every experience has been 100% positive and more!

★★★★★ — Jody, Sep 2025

I went in for a rotator cuff injury. My second in three years. My first injury was on my left and I went to a rehab center recommended by my insurance. It took most of a year to get close to normal.

★★★★★ — Ben, May 2025

Heather Urzendowski, Erin Schott and the team at Rehab Guru was amazing to work with. I came in for TMJ pain (tempromandibular joint) after a recommendation from my dentist. Over the next handful of weeks, we met and worked on the pain. I’m happy to say that I’m back to feeling great!

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
