Why theta massage is listed — cupping is a treatment, not a Google category, so we only list a provider when there's real proof they offer it. Here's what we found: “our individual needs.<br /> Her work is especially supportive for physically demanding lifestyles, postural imbalances, and clients who need sustained, effective pressure to create real change. From the reviews

I've been going to Theta Massage for several years. The space and energy there is calming and invigorating all at once.On a cold winter day, Nathan created a cozy environment with a heated bed, and warmed feet and hand wraps. Nathan has a great energy, and a therapeutic touch.

I came here for a prenatal massage after a recommendation from my boss. It was AMAZING! I have had quite a few massages, and this was easily one of the best I have ever had. Kassie was excellent from start to finish. The front space is clean and tidy, and the massage room had a relaxing eclectic feel.

By far the best prenatal massage I have ever had. Kassie was MAGICAL and made me feel so comfortable. If you've had a massage before, you know that an hour usually gets cut down to 45 minutes, but my 60 minute massage was the FULL 60 minutes, which is almost priceless!

I’ve been twice in the last 3 months for a prenatal massage. This has been the most thorough massage I’ve received in 5 years! I was seen by Kelsi and then Markina the second time. Both were amazing! They were also great at accommodating my husband for a couples massage during my second visit.

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
