I highly recommend this accupuncture practice. Aaron and Natalie are professional, caring and patient-centered. I’ve been receiving accupuncture, craniosacral therapy and cupping therapy as needed for overall wellbeing and have seen great results.
I highly recommend Natalie though I'm sure Aaron is also great. Natalie is very thorough and thoughtful, I trust her implicitly. I went to acupuncture for the first time to treat and prevent chronic migraines and pain in my trapezoids/shoulders/upper back.
I cannot recommend Aaron at Regrowth Family Acupuncture enough. He is incredibly intuitive and deeply compassionate in his approach. From the moment I arrived, he took the time to truly listen—not just to my physical symptoms, but to the emotional layers beneath them.
I've been going to Aaron for years and years. He's treated everything from stomach aches, to challenges with major life changes, to a broken ankle which was post operation and post-physical therapy which was still too tight and problematic for many everyday activities (I'm now a runner).
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
