From the reviews
I have been going to RPT in Saratoga Springs for several months now and I’d give it 10 stars if I could !!! This place is like a big family. Everyone from Reception (a BIG shout out to “DJ” who makes you feel welcomed from the time you walk in the door) to PT Assistants and all the highly qualified therapists (Britten…
My son has been coming to RPT for his knee pain the past few weeks. Steve, the physical therapist, has been amazing with him in every way- a great attitude and kind heart. He just.. gets how to talk with people and help them feel comfortable.
I love this RPT! I got referred from a close friend and so happy I trusted her. From the moment you walk in the doors, everyone is so welcoming and attentive. I have been working with Steven for several different injuries and they feel a million times better! Finally able to do life comfortably.
Before finding Registered Physical Therapists (RPT), I was already undergoing physical therapy elsewhere. Unfortunately, this led to a prolonged injury (7 months) that eventually required an additional surgery. After my surgery, I decided to move my care to RPT, and it was the best decision I could have made.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
