From the reviews

Toni-Ann is, in short, a miracle worker. I'm a competitive powerlifter and I put my body through a lot of wear and tear every day. I used to be plagued with little nagging injuries, and would feel constantly sore and stiff. I started seeing her in September 2016 and have continued to go religiously every 4 weeks.

★★★★★ — Christine, Aug 2017

Love my recovery massage sessions with Toni-Ann. She always explains what she is doing and what the reasoning for it is. Have long history of back problems and she is EXTREMELY knowledgeable in her craft. Massage room is always comfy and quiet. Cupping is also a bonus for me because of my deep tissue needs.

★★★★★ — Devon, Dec 2019

Atmosphere is cozy and inviting. Toni-Ann uses a combination of techniques and tools (including cupping & Gua Sha) to help address any pain/discomfort. My right shoulder and forearm were bothering me when I arrived and I left without pain! The best therapy for soft tissue problems! Highly recommend

★★★★★ — Elissa, Feb 2021

Toni-Ann is both passionate about and gifted at what she does. I have chronic health problems and was pleasantly surprised that Toni-Ann had looked them up before my first appointment.

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
