From the reviews

Every person in my family has needed physical therapy at some point, and we always request Rebound. They make us feel comfortable and welcome from the moment we step in the door. We receive excellent care and clear instructions for home. And they work with my schedule to limit time away from work.

Highly qualified, encouraging staff. Have guided me to significant recovery and future progress.

This facility and each employee was very nice, and welcoming. Though I'd not been before, I was treated with respect, listening to why I was there, and everyone was right on with starting the therapy I needed to proceed with my rehab.

I received my Physical Therapy for a total knee replacement from Rebound on 37th & Burlingame. From the receptionist to each of the staff I worked with all were excellent! They were encouraging, thorough, and knowledgeable. Although I was happy to "graduate" from my PT I miss seeing all of their smiling faces.

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
