Every on of my visits to stillpoint has been excellent! I have never had a negative experience with any of the massage therapists there. The atmosphere is very calming and relaxing which lends to the overall experience. They do offer purchase ahead punch cards which is nice.
So, I don't typically write many reviews, especially right away, but I felt that I needed to leave a comment about my massage. I had my first Reiki massage with Kylie at Stillpoint, and I was very pleased. Kylie did an amazing job at making me feel relaxed and calm.
I love this place. I've been coming here for over 6 years and I always leave relaxed -- I fell asleep last time! Carmen is my favorite because she knows what needs to be done. I'd recommend this to all my friends and family and anyone else.
Cameron was very good. I sometimes worry about to much pressure but Cameron did great without me even saying anything. I might have fallen asleep once. 😊
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
