From the reviews

That massage was the best massage I have ever had! He also did some cupping and scraping and really helped open up my lats and relaxed my traps. He went above and beyond especially since I had not had a massage in a couple of months and it was obvious. Would absolutely recommend his services!

★★★★★ — Mark, Sep 2024

Ray is a gifted healer with rarified knowledge of muscles! After a long sifting process of mediocre massages, i have found my person! If you are an athlete or workout person…Ray will take your results to the next level!

★★★★★ — Natasha, Sep 2024

I had a 90-minute massage with Ray, a newer masseuse in the area, which was nothing short of exceptional. I had the massage at his home, an inviting and comfortable space.

★★★★★ — Kelli, Nov 2024

Follow up review (9 months later) I’ve now been seeing Ray regularly for the past nine months, and I can honestly say his work has become an essential part of my overall wellbeing.

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
