What clients say about the cupping here
“I love Karen’s massages because she truly takes the time to listen to what is happening with you & then plans your treatment around that.”
“The room was cozy and peaceful which created a comfortable setting.”
From the reviews
Karen has been massage therapy for 2 years. I go to her monthly. I know my body feels so much healthier. When I have pain and stress so massage it a way. I always leave with a lower stress level every time.
I met Karen through Saha Yoga. She had a warm and pleasant presence about her. Always attentive to her clients needs and comfort. Today I went for my first message with Karen. The room was cozy and peaceful which created a comfortable setting. We talked about my target areas shoulders and hamstrings.
Karen was absolutely amazing! From the start, it was incredibly easy to make an appointment. She took the time to talk with me before the massage to really understand my needs and expectations, which I truly appreciated.
I love Karen’s massages because she truly takes the time to listen to what is happening with you & then plans your treatment around that. She checks in often with type of pressure, comfort level, etc., but not so much that it is a distraction from relaxing.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
