From the reviews

Dr. Stephanie is amazing! She is the embodiment of what a true compassionate doctor looks like. She took intentional, dedicated time to uncover the root cause of my ailments, and not simply "slap a bandaid" on my symptoms. That's what true care looks like. She is kind, gentle, and loving.

★★★★★ — Ramona, Apr 2025

I have been a patient of Dr. Jessica’s for over 6 years. She has been amazing in helping me to navigate all health issues with an autoimmune/thyroid disorder and pregnancies being 40 years old.

★★★★★ — Jennifer, Apr 2021

I can't say enough great things about Dr. Jessica Kooima. Her exams are thorough and concise, she is compassionate and kind, and she doesn't make you feel like a number, but an individual. She addresses my concerns immediately and helps me find a holistic approach, not just a quick fix.

★★★★★ — Carol, Sep 2018

I’ve had to go through several doctors in the past year and I must say, Dr. Kooima is easily the best Doctor I have ever been to. She does a very thorough exam and actually takes genuine interest in what you have going on. She asks questions and works toward finding solutions. Not often do I say this, but Dr.

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
