From the reviews
I had chronic neck and shoulder pain and tension that regular massage and chiropractic would only fix for few days. After 6 sessions my neck and upper shoulders for the first time in years doesn't feel like a block of concrete! Much improved movement and pain free. Tasha is very compassionate and understanding.
Based on prior experience, I was a believer in the benefits of acupuncture for a variety of persistent, nagging and/or repetitive use ailments - aka aging. Recently, I experienced a more episodic, traumatic double injury - a hamstring tear and painful shoulder joint sprain.
Tasha was recommended to me and she did not disappoint! I went to Tasha for my knee and some numbness I was experiencing. Not only did she help with those two problems but she helped me with my sinus congestion and lower back issues.
Dr. Tasha Perez is extremely professional and knowledgeable . Dr. Perez was able to relieve pain in my wrist, due to tendinitis, and the swelling went down in less than 30 minutes. Dr. Perez explains her treatments in detail and answers every question asked of her.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
