From the reviews
I just finished my 2nd acupuncture treatment with Garrett and he is wonderful!! I came in because of high stress, anxiety and loss of sleep. The first session my whole body relaxed and I started drifting off to sleep. I was in a state of relaxation the whole day! Today’s session was very relaxing too.
I’ve been working with Garrett for about a month now, and his treatments have been really effective. I came in with a combination of issues, some new and some old. Though I’ve worked with acupuncturists in the past, Garrett has a different style and my body has responded really well.
Garrett is a passionate and knowledgeable and above all a caring practitioner. He truly wants to serve and help others reach their best and healthiest self. He goes above and beyond for his patients and is passionate about helping veterans especially. He is thorough and I trust him fully with my health.
I can’t say enough good things about my experience with treatment here. In a few short sessions my tightness and pain were greatly reduced and quality of life GREATLY improved. Garrett has extensive knowlede and is a great person too which is always a bonus!!!
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
