From the reviews

I wasn’t sure what to expect when I started acupuncture for the first time, but now I’m absolutely a believer. Amanda is amazing. She’s so thorough and knows her stuff. There have been three separate times when I showed up to a session with a migraine and found that it was gone by the time I got home.

★★★★★ — Lauren, Apr 2022

Exceptional whole health care for my entire family. Nutrition, supplements herbs, and acupuncture for chronic health issues and support for colds and sickness. Pain, hormones, sinuses, and sleep issues have all been helped. Amanda is capable, knowledgeable, and a caring practitioner.

★★★★★ — Karen, Jan 2017

I have had major lower back pain for years and have tried many things. I came here 3 times so far and I can already feel most of the pain is gone and I am able to touch the floor again while bending over. Harmony Acupuncture is a super solid choice to go with.

Amazing! Highly recommend Harmony Accupuncture. Amanda is wonderful! She explains things clearly in a very compassionate and caring way. I had sleep, stress, knee, low back and heel pain issues which have all been resolved! Yay!

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
