From the reviews
I can't recommend Quality Movement Physical Therapy enough! Dr. Rupa is incredibly knowledgeable and supportive. She creates a comfortable and welcoming environment, making what can be a sensitive topic much easier to discuss.
Rupa is one of a kind! Thorough, professional and kind. She's extremely responsive. Rupa helped me navigate pelvic floor dysfunction and prolapse issues that I've been dealing with my entire adult life. I decided to have surgery and with her helped I was lifting, running and back at CrossFit within 3 months post op.
Dr Rupa is laser focused on helping me improve my injury. She listens to my concerns and tailors each session according to my needs. She is an integral part of my care team, working with other providers to ensure I get informed, coordinated support. 10/10, she is the health care provider you have been looking for!
Rupa is a very good physical therapist, very good in explaining the exercises for your issues. I thoroughly enjoyed my visits and appreciated her gentle and thorough therapy plan. I certainly recommend her for your physical therapy.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
