From the reviews

Irina is a great, wonderful, caring, dedicated Acupuncturist. She can treat a multitude of conditions and accidents. Just one example of her amazing work. She treated me for a back strain injury and I was in severe pain. Walking was difficult. Normally without treatment it would a week+ to feel better.

Irina is fantastic! I have chronic pain due to a bad car accident that happened about 5 years ago. One side of my body is now slightly shorter than the other side, giving me all kinds of aches and pains.

★★★★★ — Brittany, Sep 2020

I can’t say enough positive things about my experience. I was dealing with back pain for a while. Tests (X-ray/MRI) revealed no majors back issues. I did PT for a few months and it helped but still some pain persisted. My therapists suggested I try acupuncture and Google took me to Healing Art of Acupuncture.

★★★★★ — Kirt, Oct 2022

After years of being too nervous to try acupuncture, I finally went to Irina and I love it! The needles don't hurt; at most they feel like a mosquito bite, but often I don't feel them at all. I've gotten acupuncture to help relieve back and shoulder pain/tension, as well as to regulate my menstrual cycle.

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
