Why Qi Tree Wellness is listed — cupping is a treatment, not a Google category, so we only list a provider when there's real proof they offer it. Here's what we found: “oves to the area and you may feel tingles. You may notice your body warming as you continue to breathe deeply. From the reviews
Lindsey is honestly one of the best massage therapists I have been to! She really takes the time to listen about what is wrong and what needs work through massage- Her environment is very relaxing and calming.
Ive been seeing Lindsey for months now for a 90 minute massage + cupping. I originally started with 60 minutes + cupping every two weeks, but bumped up to 90 minutes because I wanted more full-body relief.
Lindsey is very kind and professional. I’ve been to therapists that don’t really augment their treatment for their client, but that’s not the case here. She really does want you to feel better and changes her cares for your needs. I’d recommend her to anyone with pain.
Had such a great experience with Lindsey at Qi Tree Wellness. I loved her use of acupressure and cupping. Our session was relaxing and effective. Also her space is clean and beautiful. Thank you Lindsey!
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
