From the reviews
I highly recommend PPT. Everyone is so nice. Dr. Mark is amazing. He is very professional and a good listener. Dr. Mark listened to my concerns and is helping me reach my goals.I am already feeling much better after the few visits. I love that PPT offers the one on one sessions.
I can’t say enough good things about Purposed Physical Therapy. From the moment I walked in, Chasity was friendly, organized, and incredibly helpful with scheduling, payments, and invoicing. Dr. Mark Steele was exceptional and the type of provider you hope to find.
An Excellent Physical Therapy Studio in Greenville, SC! In March I had my first visit (after surgery) with Dr. Mark Steele, (my PT) and I am impressed. I was not enjoying my rotator cuff injury, and it was very painful to lift or use my shoulder muscles, but he had high hopes for a recovery that would allow me to bowl…
I highly recommend Purposed PT. I began working with Dr. Mark a few months after ACL surgery and was extremely satisfied with the care and guidance I received at every visit. Each session was challenging in a way that pushed my recovery forward, ultimately leading to significant improvement in my knee.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
