I came to ProX Spine and Sport Therapy because my doctor wanted me to start the Liftmor Trial heavy lifting program for postmenopausal women with osteoporosis. Ryan was my therapist. He developed a program for me that followed the research.
Cannot say enough good things about ProX. Tali is a wizard when it comes to assessing how and why your body is compromised, and what best to do to get it back functioning in an optimal way. Her PT aid Loci is also such a value-add to the team and brings a lot of energy and guidance during our exercises.
I highly recommend ProX physical therapy! I've been seeing my therapist for about 2 months and I am delighted by the progress that has been made. The facility is beautiful and spotless. My therapist knew exactly what I needed to strengthen my body and relieve my pain!

What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
