Juliana worked with such detail, I definitely noticed an improvement on my range of motion as soon as it was over and felt recovered faster than I normally would. I also got worked with cupping and gua sha; game changer.
Got a massage here with almost all the enhancements you can get in a session. The session was amazing! Afterwards the pan in my shoulder had melted away and I felt so very rejuvenated. The ambience of the area where you they massaged is nothing like I’ve seen. It was such a treat.
I went to The NOW Massage for second time & I’m currently 20 wks pregnant. 10/10 experience w/ John, so grateful!! Before I came in for my appt.. I signed up for their monthly program, & after I left I immediately booked a session for the next week lol. I’ll probably go 2–3x/mo just to stay functional!
Perfect massage without all the spa fuss! My sisters and I booked massages and we each had amazing experiences. The masseuse was on time and the establishment was very nice! Although the room is shared by all guests there is a very private and intimate feeling that you’re the only one there.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
