From the reviews
I went to Pro Wellness over 15 years ago after a debilitating back injury , which supposedly only surgery could fix. I was skeptical of the diagnosis and didn’t have insurance, so I reached out to Dr. Mark for a second opinion. I could barely walk and had to be driven to his office.
I haven’t been to see Dr.J in about 8 years … Big Mistake … I have chronic back pain and was having a severe flare up …. I called on a Wednesday and they got me in that day. Staff are pleasant and Dr.J , once again, worked his magic …I have been to him twice and I already feel 75% better.
I have suffered with neck pain for over 6 months. Tyler was awesome! He listened closely as I rambled on about my neck pain and jaw tighness. He showed me a few things to help strengthen my neck, and he worked on my jaws. I was sore the next morning, but I know that means it is working.
First visit visits this week....excellent results immediately....dealing with back pain (sciatica) for a long time....Dr J has raised my hopes that I'll be able to "live with it" which was an option that was listed before having back surgery, not something that I would want to have Thank you Dr J.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
