From the reviews
I’ve been working with my physical therapist for about four months, and the results have been incredible. When I first started, I was dealing with persistent shoulder and knee problems that were affecting both my daily life and my ability to play hockey at the level I wanted.
I had a nagging pain in my right shoulder that I tolerated for weeks. Dr. Ben suggested dry needing for the problem area. He recommended 2-3 sessions to resolve. The procedure is quick and painless. I only felt a little pressure during and tightness afterwards.
Pain GONE… Mobility BACK!!! 💙 I had to share my experience with Dr. Ben Fannin at GMS Therapy and Fitness LLC because it may help someone else who’s been living with chronic pain. After years of nagging neck and back pain—and trying just about everything—I experienced relief in my very first session. Dr.
I've been working with Ben for ongoing neck pain, and the results have exceeded my expectations. He uses a variety of techniques, including dry needling, cupping, muscle scraping, and massage therapy, and has also created targeted exercises that address the root cause of my pain rather than just the symptoms.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
