I was talked into getting a massage by a friend and I’m really happy that I was. I’ve been working out quite a bit after not doing it for a while and Anna really helped me loosen up and feel better. She played really soothing music during the massage and communicated about what I should expect.
Anna is absolutely incredible! I first found her through Google Maps on a visit to San Diego, and will now visit her consistently when I’m in town. If only she lived near me, I’d see her regularly. She is intuitive, and a perfect talented mix of sports, deep tissue and therapeutic massage to suit your needs.
I moved out of state 4 years ago and to say I miss Anna's massage style and expertise is an understatement. Anytime I'm back in San Diego visiting I always make sure to get on her schedule in advance so I can enjoy some relaxation and getting off the table feeling like jelly.

What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
