From the reviews

I have been to Sara many times. She is a great therapist for a deep tissue massage. I had significant pain in my left shoulder and elbow that felt much better after a couple sessions of focused therapy on those areas. I love that she does cupping! It always make me feel so much better.

I live with a chronic illness diagnosis of multiple sclerosis, which is an autoimmune disease of the central nervous system. It's a heavy diagnosis that comes with heavy consequences if you do not get to the root cause of it.

I worked with Jean for a lymphatic massage after surgery 2 years ago. She is very professional and knowledgeable. Every time I left her office I felt much better physically and mentally. Fast forward to now. I had an additional surgery and could not find her. She changed locations I was so bummed out.

Sara is amazing at her massage expertise and service to her clients. I have been going to her studio for 4+ years twice a month. Every time she asks me what's going on with my body and listens to my response. Her massages are catered to you as a person and are not the same every time you visit.

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
