From the reviews
John at Bodi saved me physically. I have 12 different diagnoses on my spine, and to say that I lived with pain is an understatement. I can now go places with my family albeit still in a wheelchair; I don't mind that, but I do mind the pain.
I started going after a car accident I was in. I had a lot of pain in my knee and was having problems sleeping and walking because of it. He really focuses on my main problem and add to what else I might be having problems with that week. My knee pain had gone down significantly.
John is great. I had a really bad tendinitis on my Achilles and acupuncture healed it.
Really great experience here. John helped release so much muscle tension in my back and shoulders through acupuncture. Even with regular massage, it had gotten to be too much, so I sought out acupuncture. This was exactly what I needed - the relief is amazing!
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
