From the reviews
I am so thankful to have found Lauren and Tina! I was suffering with a frozen shoulder for 5 months before I started working with them. Doctors have said frozen shoulders can last 2-3 years! 😩 With regular visits to Lauren and Tina, my shoulder was completely mobile again in around 6 months.
Several years ago I suffered a very serious injury that left me with a neurological condition that causes widespread, chronic and debilitating pain. I had begun to lose hope that things would ever improve when I was fortunate enough to be referred to Lauren for myofascial release therapy.
Lauren Cadman is a wonderful person and Barnes method myofascial release therapist. She has been treating me for a very painful long term, chronic problem that goes from my neck all the way down my arm. I spent a lot of time and money on injections, standard physical therapy and even surgery and got no relief.
After searching for many years (spending a lot of time and money) I finally found a physical therapist who is highly trained in myofascial release. It’s one thing to say that you know how to treat a patient with myofascial release therapy, but it’s another thing to actually execute treatment effectively for the…
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
