From the reviews
I have visited Preferred Health only occasionally over the last 10-15 years. Then last month I was involved in a minor car collision. My car was rear-ended while waiting at at stoplight. A co-worker suggested that I get chiropractic treatment as soon as possible. I was able to see Dr.
Dr.Eichten is amazing- highly recommend! Dr.Eichten did acupuncture on me & successfully flipped my baby from breech two times! I was skeptical when acupuncture was recommended, however, I believe now! At 36 weeks we found out baby was breech and I went for acupuncture & baby flipped to head down.
I go to Dr Kern for my DOT med card and he is great. Very friendly and polite. The girls that work the front desk are very welcoming and greetful. They do a great job even when they are busy they are professional and cheerful to assist. I would highly recommend them to anyone one.
I have been coming here for a little over a month now and see Dr. Pinckney. I was always so scared to go to a chiropractor before and now I love it. He explains everything so well and helps understand. The environment of the entire place is phenomenal.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
