From the reviews

I am 72 years old and have suffered with lower back problems off & on all my adult life. A year ago I suffered a lower back injury that later moved to horrific sciatic pain in my left leg.

I'm writing this review with enormous gratitude. I have been going to Lina for over 4 years now. Lina is most professional, knowledgeable, attentive, kind, compassionate and accommodating person you can find! She does acupuncture, cupping and massage, and tailors the program to your specific needs.

★★★★★ — Irina, Aug 2019

Lina is most professional for the acupuncture and cupping, She is very patient and nice. Every appointment is on time, no need to wait, I love this place very much.

★★★★★ — Shirley, Aug 2019

I am so excited to have found this little gem! I came for the first time last week and will be coming here weekly now. Lina asked me what areas were troubling me and then proceeded to give me a bit of a deep tissue massage to warm up those muscles before applying acupuncture.

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
