From the reviews
We have been taking our 2026 high school baseball player to see Dr Kam for just about a year now. We originally came seeking help for a strained lower back and chronic neck/shoulder discomfort. Our son had actually been under the care of several doctors and had seen a physical therapist for his neck pain.
A few months ago, our son had a collision sliding into home plate. After countless Doctors visits, multiple exams including an MRI, and some of our own research, we still did not have definitive answers on how to move forward. We had heard about Dr. Kam and knew we needed the expertise that only he could provide.
I can't recommend Kam's Physical Therapy enough! With Kam's help my son recovered from little league shoulder and is back to playing baseball pain free. Kam's expertise in sports physical therapy and sports rehab is unparalleled.
We’ve been working with Dr. Kam (remotely) now for a little over a year and I can’t say enough about how helpful Dr. Kam has been! Even though we work remotely, Dr. Kam has built a bond with my 13yo (Tyler) and Tyler loves working with him!
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
