From the reviews
Dr. Sparschu is my go-to! After dancing for 20+ years, I started experiencing tightness in my back and a stiff sensation after long walks or working out. She took her time breaking down detailed exercises and stretches to help me release the strain I was feeling. She also did cupping therapy on my back.
Jessica is an amazing physical therapist. I went in this morning for a recovery session because of stiffness and tightness in my hips and back, and I left feeling incredible. From the cupping on my back to the guided stretching, the entire experience was fantastic. I highly recommend her!
Jessica was amazing! I had really bad shoulder and back pain from lifting weights. During my session, Jessica did some dry needling and cupping and the pain went away overnight! I would 110% recommend for all of your physical therapy needs
Jessica is so accurate and amazing at what she does! I’d had an ongoing injury for over a year with my hip and she was the only one who was really able to help me overcome it. She also was very considerate and was one of the only people I saw that fully explained what my injury was and what caused it.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
