I had the Aqua Lux Headspa treatment and it was FABULOUS! An hour and half of scalp massaging, washing, and conditioning. It was very relaxing but also so good for my scalp and hair. I will certainly do it again!
Awesome Kombucha and float facilities. I have done most of their treatments and float. Very relaxing and great for clearing the mind. Owners and staff are very nice and inviting. They also have fermented food products that are amazing!
The headspa was a 10/10 experience! Jennifer was amazing from start to finish. The spa was clean and the headspa was beyond relaxing!!! I will be getting one again. Definitely check them out!
Just finished my hour in the open float, I am not normally believing of what seems like new age but wow. The silence, the relaxing, my hip finally popping...I can't say what is best. Now just relaxing in the chill room. 😌
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
