From the reviews

I went to the facility on Oxford St as a patient with long term back pain stemming from an accident as a teenager, which had left me with the unability to do many things that involve activating my back for more than just a few moments throughout the years.

★★★★★ — Samantha, Aug 2023

I recently had a knee revision done and was sent here and so glad I was! This facility and the staff are by far the best I have ever had the pleasure of working with, rather it be seeing the friendly and smiling face of Janet when walking in to working on my rehab with Troy and Kyle I was always excited about going!

★★★★★ — Tammie, Jan 2024

i highly recommend Prairie Rehab. I have had PT on my R hip my R knee by R hand R shoulder and back. Tasha has been a wonderful Physical Therapist and has helped me with my hip, knee, shoulder and back.

★★★★★ — Judy, Oct 2020

Troy was instrumental in helping me walk. I broke my ankle and have 12 screws and two plates. I felt so helpless and was so afraid to put my foot down. Troy gave me the confidence and helped me over come my fears . He listens and cares and helped me walk again.

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
