From the reviews
A treatment with Samantha is extremely nurturing, enjoyable and quite healing. You can tell Samantha is completely present during the full session. Cupping has changed my life and her acupuncture, yet gentle, provides lasting results.
Samantha is kind, caring, and gentle. Her space is relaxing and you can tell the depth of her expertise across a wide range of disciplines, from fertility awareness, acupuncture, herbalism, moxa, and more.
I highly recommend Samantha as a practitioner! She has the most welcoming, gentle, kind and knowledgeable demeanor. I felt comfortable immediately upon meeting her. I came to see her for Mayan Abdominal massage and acupuncture while going through fertility treatments.
I started seeing her while trying to conceive my first child, and she has been an incredible source of support ever since. She is always attentive, compassionate, and incredibly knowledgeable.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
