This was my first time to this beautiful Spa that is located in a private area up on a hill near Collegedale. The spa entrance is very beautifully decorated and has a small store with lots of goodies. The receptionist was very welcoming.
My boyfriend and I booked a couples massage & we both walked out of there feeling better than ever!! It was so relaxing, we felt extremely comfortable, the staff was extremely accommodating/ polite, & it allows us to have an intimate moment that consisted on us both being treated!!!
I've been coming here for a couple months and I can't recommend it enough. The space is calm, clean, relaxing, and it smells amazing. The atmosphere is peaceful, and even the parking lot feels low-stress. The front desk staff are great, and I love the little touch of cookies and tea in the waiting area.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
