From the reviews
Nicole was great! Definitely will come back to see her for a massage and cupping
Nicole at Flourish Therapeutic Massage is amazing! If you are looking for a massage therapist for soreness and pain Nicole is who you want. She will take the time to research what massage will best help your specific needs. I have severe migraines and suffer from vertigo.
Had my first prenatal massage with Nicole and it was amazing! I wasn’t sure what to expect but it blew me out of the water! I was dealing lots of lower back pain, and she was certain to focus on that area to give me the most relief.
I've been going to Nicole consistently and I've noticed huge improvements in my low back pain and shoulder mobility and strength. As a desk worker and rock climber, I appreciate that Nicole takes time to really work on my issues to make progress over time. One of the best bodyworkers I've ever visited.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
