From the reviews

I have been coming here, and working with Courtney, for a few months now. They always make my schedule work, they fit me in, and the sessions are really beneficial and helpful. I feel SOOO much better already, from when I started, and I look forward to coming each time. They are super nice, and friendly to talk to.

★★★★★ — Joanne, Jan 2025

Personal Best gave me back a quality of life that had been gone for a year. A frozen shoulder hindered all aspects of my life including yard work, exercise, day-to-day living, and even resulted in sleepless nights. This all cumulated into a deep depression.

★★★★★ — John, Jan 2021

My experience was exceptional at Personal Best. From my initial phone call the staff went out of their way to be helpful and accommodate my need for a timely evaluation. My therapist (Barbara) evaluated my condition and explained my issues using a 3D model to help me understand.

★★★★★ — Pam, May 2025

I would like to thank Kyle and the entire staff for the great experience I had at Personal Best. They were very professional, caring, and encouraging. I had two knee surgeries within 8 mos. I went to them after having a slow recovery from my first surgery.

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
