I have been going to Platinum Physical Therapy since April and Bridget Faucher has been my therapist. Her treatment has been beyond both my doctor's and my expectations. I have severe arthritis in both my knees and the pain I was feeling prior to going to Bridget was excruciating.
Platinum Physical Therapy in Milford is a great location to go for physical therapy. I have gone there 3 different times all with excellent results. Jennifer Pitmann, MD is an outstanding physical therapist. She is knowledgeable, very skilled and patiently answers all questions.
I go to Platinum Physical Therapy for therapy on my surgically repaired right shoulder rotator cuff. The facility I use is located in Milford Ma, inside the The Gym on East Main Street. I have been so pleased with my therapist Meghan. She is extremely PASSIONATE about her work and pleasing her clients.
I had an amazing experience at Platinum physical therapy at the gym. Jennifer was outstanding and performed my initial assessment. I initially had some apprehension because I had been to other physical therapists in the past with only short term results.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
