Why Pivotal Motion Acupuncture is listed — cupping is a treatment, not a Google category, so we only list a provider when there's real proof they offer it. Here's what we found: “rson-to-person basis. For example, if we feel that acupuncture alone can alleviate a patient's pain, that will be our treatment. Or, maybe you have a more chronic condition and we feel that a combination of acupuncture, cupping,…” source →

From the reviews
The facility was beautifully serene and very clean. Trish spent over an hour with me. She asked me questions about my lifestyle and any health issues. She has a great bedside manner- very warm and personable. You can tell she is very passionate about helping people.
After months of neck/shoulder pain from a herniated disc, as well as dozens of visits to the chiropractor and PT with not much progress, my friend referred me to see Cory. It’s been four visits and my overall improvement is unbelievable.
This is the only place I’ve ever received acupuncture, so I don’t have much to compare it to, but based on the results I can’t imagine anywhere else being better. I’ve been getting regular treatments from Cody for a couple of months now, and it’s been incredible.
Dynamic duo provides a community of care! I was introduced to Trish & Cody during their Saturday morning Taiji meetup group. After several weeks of attending, I was most impressed with their quality of instruction. At the time, I was experiencing minor/moderate inflammatory issues and decided to try acupuncture.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
